Blessed 2024! This is my first ever blog post and the first of many this year!
If you're new here my name is Brittany Willis; I'm a studying naturopath and herbalist and I help moms stay calm in every season of Motherhood. Because "When mommy is calm, the whole house is calm".
Years ago I would create vision boards for my goals but this year I decided to chose a focus word and center my year goals around this one word.
My focus words for 2024 is Healing
Wholistic healing! Mind, Body & Soul.
At this point in my life, I need Healing for so many reasons this year.
Self Care is a major component for my mental, physical and emotional healing. Self care also helps me prioritize calm.
As a mom, taking care of your family's needs often takes priority over your own well-being. However, prioritizing self-care is crucial for maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit. By taking care of yourself, you are better equipped to handle the challenges and stressors that come with being a parent.
When it comes to reducing stress naturally, there are a variety of methods you can try. One effective technique is incorporating relaxation techniques like deep breathing or journaling into your daily routine. These practices can help you feel more calm and centered, even in the midst of chaos.
In addition to these practices, it's important to prioritize self-care in other ways as well. This might mean taking time for yourself to do something you enjoy, like reading a book or taking a long bath. It could also mean reaching out to a friend or loved one for support when you're feeling overwhelmed.
